Venna Valley Honey is crafted by bees residing in the wild forests of the Western Ghats. The honey is gathered using eco friendly techniques by trained Katkari tribal youths of the Mahabaleshwar region. This natural process ensures that the color and flavor vary with each batch—a true reflection of its organic origins.

Venna Valley Honey aimed to elevate its presence in the competitive market of natural food products, especially in supermarkets where packaging plays a significant role in grabbing consumer attention. The challenge was to redesign packaging that would appeal to a wide audience while reflecting the ethical sourcing and natural purity of the product.

There was no strong brand identity or storytelling to emphasize Venna Valley’s eco-friendly origins and premium, natural quality.

The typography and elements were unbalanced and failed to capture attention.

Our goal was to create packaging that was visually appealing, reflective of Venna Valley’s values, and competitive in the market.

The label was a key element of the branding. We wanted the design to communicate both the sustainability of the product and the local heritage of the tribal communities involved in the honey gathering. The label features a clean, modern aesthetic with natural, earthy colors and minimalist typography. The visuals incorporated subtle cues to the forest environment from which the honey is sourced, alongside the NGO partnership to reinforce the ethical story behind the product.

Through this collaboration, Venna Valley Honey was able to strengthen its market presence, reach a wider audience, and highlight the vital work of the local tribal youth involved in the honey-gathering process, ultimately helping to raise awareness for both the product and the mission behind it.
